Alpenglow Summit High School Concert/Workship

Alpenglow has developed an educational program to extend the musical education of young musicians in Summit County. The outreach involves bringing musicians to Summit County to teach music workshops.

We sponsored a concert and workshop at the Summit County High School on September 16, 2009 in the High School music room. The musicians performed several works for the School's string students and discussed them and other matters, depending on the student's questions. One of the musicians, Danielle Farina (viola), was especially suited to this, as she is on the faculty of The Julliard School's Pre-College Division.
